Hamantasch is a cookie in Jewish cuisine recognizable for its 3-cornered shape. It is eaten during the Jewish holiday of Purim. Traditional fillings are poppy seeds (Yiddish mon) or prunes, but they are made with many different flavors, including dates or apricots. For children, parents sometimes make chocolate-filled Hamantaschen.

modern legend has it that Haman, the villain of Purim, wore a triangular hat. In Israel, they are called Oznei Haman (Hebrew for "Haman's ears").

1 tsp. Baking Powder
1 Cup Oil
5 Cups All-Purpose Flour
Pinch Salt
Blend
Flour Surface
Roll Dough
Cut Dough into Circles
For Filling – Any Flavor of Jam, Add Oat and combine
Add dollop jam to center
Pinch sides to form Triangle
Place on Baking Sheet
Bake at 350 F FOR 20 Minutes, Allow to cool
